WHO DARES WINS!

Inspired by the mobile commandos of the Boer War, the Special Air Service was formed by Britain after the fall of France in 1940. Volunteers underwent rigorous training covering weaponry, stealth, orienteering, air and amphibious assault, demolition, and a number of other critical skills to operate behind enemy lines. The Commandos operated extensively during World War 2 in multiple theaters.

This box set includes enough parts to build 30 SAS, SBS, or Royal Marine Commandos with a variety of headgear. Equipment includes Sten, Bren, and Tommy guns, Lee Enfield rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, knives, a demo charge, and radio equipment.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included. Not for Children. Contents may vary from photos.

The training detail in the description is spot-on—it really captures the intensity of what these volunteers endured. I was impressed by how much history is packed into such a concise format. A solid pick for anyone interested in WWII special forces.

The training details on this one are spot on—it really captures how brutal the selection process was for those volunteers after the fall of France. I've been reading through it twice now and the historical context about the Boer War origins adds a layer most military books skip.

Got this for a friend who’s into military history—the “Who Dares Wins” motto on the cover is a nice touch. The detail on the training and Boer War inspiration is solid, makes it feel authentic.
