Lily I. ★★★★★

Finally got my friends together for a proper Saturday night session and the mass battle rules clicked immediately once we figured out flanking. The cardboard tokens for unit cohesion are simple but they keep the chaos manageable on a crowded board.

Victoria Q. ★★★★★

Setting up the battlefield with the included terrain tiles really adds to the immersion, and the unit cards make it easy to track my samurai forces. My first game lasted over two hours, with epic clashes that felt exactly like the chaotic, sweeping battles described.

Ellie ★★★★★

The sheer scale of these battles is what got me—watching dozens of units crash together at the end of the sixteenth century feels properly chaotic. Set-up took a bit, but once the formations start clashing, it’s pure drama and tactics.
