The price per box works out to just over $26, which feels fair for the sheer number of figures you get—enough for a decent-sized skirmish line. The plastic is sturdy and the poses are classic, though I did have to trim a few mold lines before painting.

The boxed set gives you a serious pile of parts for the price, easily enough for a solid skirmish line. I've built two units so far and the hard plastic takes glue and paint really well, which is a huge plus for a wargamer. The 1916-18 gear fits my early WWII home guard project just fine too.

The poses are really varied and the plastic feels sturdy enough for repeated handling, which matters since my kids keep staging their own trench raids. Building thirty figures from the ten boxes took a solid afternoon, but the detail on the webbing and helmets makes them look properly 1916.
