征服者騎兵

The battle at Otumba gets real here—Cortes’s desperate gamble feels tense, and the Tlaxcalan allies actually matter in the tactical flow. I’ve replayed the sun god confrontation three times because the pacing is that good.

The moment Cortes spots the sun god’s banner amid the chaos, you can feel the stakes—this ruleset really captures that desperate, last-stand momentum at Otumba. The historical notes are dense but readable, and the unit stats for the Tlaxcalan allies make every choice feel weighty. Ended up replaying

I was really impressed by how the game captures that desperate moment when Cortes spotted the sun god's banner—it adds real tension to every cavalry charge. The rule mechanics for breaking enemy morale feel authentic and kept us on edge. Definitely a must-have for anyone into historical wargaming.
